- We are in a difficult place

15.300 people passed on average through the airports in Billund and Aalborg every day in may 2019. A year later it failed again the two airports to reach the figures in the course of a whole month.

Only about 10,000 passengers of the two airports in may take note of together against 475.000 in the same month last year.

Behind the grim statistic hides, however, a noticeable improvement. According to the medium increased the number of passengers in Billund Airport in may, with 86 percent compared to april. And in Aalborg was the progress even more obvious.

- It will be a very difficult summer, but thankfully we can rejoice that DAT open their route to the island of Bornholm, and Lufthansa opens to Frankfurt in the coming week.

Coronakrisen forced at the end of may Billund Airport to fire 309 of its approximately 1100 employees. According to the media expects the airport that the crisis will cost over two million passengers in the year.
