The danes in the deadly competition: the Body is starving for fuel

When you be quiet for two hours, then sleep for two hours and again calm two hours 24/7 for the next 45 days, it is quite important to get some food in skrutten.

But it has former radio host Mads Vangsø and captain in the army, Lasse Hansen had a hard time the first three days in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, where they compete with five other couples to row across the Atlantic.

- I just came to the veins. It goes really very good, except for the nights, which are incredibly hard, where Lasse and I have sat and fallen asleep over the oars in the night, says Mads Vangsø.

Success has to be felt, and Lasse Hansen and Mads Vangsø has remained as the number one in their group, the vast majority of the race.

Such is the competition

participating in a total of 27 rowing boats in the competition, which spans from La Gomera and 5000 miles across the Atlantic, where the finish line is located in Antigua in the Caribbean.

Each team will compete against the team that has a similar number of participants. Mads Vangsø and Lasse Hansen are two on their team, they are fighting against four other teams in their category.
