Gymnastikklubben Vejlby IK certify that I have complained to the national alliance, GymDanmark, where concern has been expressed over the national coach Bernadett Balazs' treatment of the club's gymnasts.

In the first complaint in 2016, was one of the criticism of Bernadett Balazs' focus on weight and weighings of young gymnasts during training camps.

One of the girls in KG66, 15-year-old Laura Juul Pallesen, says that she has trained under Bernadett Balazs, and that the weighings, snarky comments about her body and a large focus on diet at an early age was part of the træningskulturen.

- After the workout we stood in a row and got to know, whether we should eat more or less. We were down to six and seven years.

- I can remember all her little comments and how she went and hung the big girls on the thighs. She said not why, but everyone knew what she was referring to, says Laura Juul Pallesen to DR.

DR the Sport has been in contact with both Bernadett Balazs and the director of the GymDanmark, Ditte Okholm-Naut. They have been denied the possibility of criticism, but none of the parties want to put up for interview.

- KG66 don't know of any criticism of that trainer and can and will not answer any questions. So we do not expect that there will be approached to either our employees or gymnasts, says in an email to DR.
