GC does not come to rest, the President of Anliker assigns

Stephan Anliker is the Swiss record champion GC as President. The Berner will continue to be one of the two main shareholders. CEO Manuel Huber will assign at the end of the current season of the office. This is the Grasshoppers announced on Monday.

Anliker wants to make his retreat out of the way, so that the tradition can take the Zurich football club a fresh start in attack. The outgoing President together with Peter Stüber, around 94 per cent of the club's shares and will continue to remain one of the main shareholders.

successor is determined – but not yet known

"It is for me now is the right Moment, new forces and ideas at GC to make the way free. I led the Club through arguably the most difficult five years of the history of the club and me personally and financially involved," says Anliker.

The two main shareholders Stüber and Anliker have already determined on a successor to the Bureau of the Board of Directors of the Grasshopper Fussball AG. Successor is an experienced Swiss business leaders with extensive knowledge as a CEO and Board of Directors, informed the Club. The new President will be announced on Wednesday.

the New CEO wanted

CEO Manuel Huber will resign from office in the summer. Huber joined the company in February 2014, in the GC-guide, at the same time Anliker rose from Vice President to President. In the meantime, Huber has also had the office of the sports leaders.

"GC is well organized, is financially secure and is led by a well-established Team under the direction of Manuel Huber. That is, in the currently very physically delicate Phase of great importance," says Anliker.
