research institution Empa and the Austrian space forum to jointly develop the "Serenity"space suit for Mars missions. The partners have now signed a cooperation agreement to work together even more closely.
The Austrian space forum (OEWF) is currently developing the prototype for a Mars suit with the name "Serenity" (Serenity). Also, the Empa will participate in it: the focus of the collaboration was the optimization of the wear suit, comfort and thermal regulation system of the Room based on the Empa-developed body models, the research Institute on Tuesday.
