Enough waving Helle Thorning-Schmidt goodbye to an annual salary of about two million dollars when she leaves the Red Barnet - Save the Children - in the Uk, but already now she's ready for the top jobs with a solid gage for quite a few meetings per year.
So she set to a good leg with a post in the board of directors at Vestas, where she can look forward to 12 annual meetings. For the inconvenience she gets a salary of 400,000 dollars annually.
But does she post in one of Vestas three special committees, there is even more money to score. In total, there are 11 records in these committees, and a record propels further 251.000 crowns.
The former socialist prime minister was in 2016, adm. director of save the children international. In a press release, she says:
'I leave the post with a sense of pride for the important work we have done to give children a voice and to be an organisation that is better geared for the future.'
Ekstra Bladet has asked for a comment from Helle Thorning-Schmidt. She has not yet returned.
