Aleksander Ceferin writes in a statement that he and all in the Uefa regret, sorrow for Salas closest.
"I am extremely sorry that his life ripped from him so cruelly at the early age and calls on all supporters across the continent to honor his memory in the coming days," says Ceferin.
The 28-year-old argentine was on his way from his former club Nantes to its new Cardiff when the aircraft he was traveling in crashed over the English channel.
