no, the Band felt at the time, according to a well-oiled machine, we needed new and creative oxygen. And the Solo projects have done well. If you start with a blank sheet of paper, the free a very childlike energy, there is room for experiments. When I saw J. Bernhardt on the stage, I thought, you son of a talented dog!

How has this helped the Band?
We were Fans of each other. I could hardly expect again with Jinte music. In addition, a special energy arises, when you come to a introverted Phase, a Solo project is always, again together as a group.

"Fever" sounds actually excited.
Yes. Earlier we always wanted to be more like The Velvet Underground, but we love to stop while pop melodies and big choruses. For "Fever" were the Talking Heads is a good reference; a very extroverted Band, the Pop Hits with this Edge can handle. After that, we also strive for with Balthazar.

you Feel after ten years in Business as a Band successful?
Sometimes it surprises me how big the closet is. However, I believe that we are a very European Band with a very European Sound.

Is the wrong with something?
no, but in the past we hid this fact.

Why?
I think, we were ashamed of us for a bit. We are not thought to be Belgian, was very sexy. The big pop bands all come from the UK. In the meantime, we see our origin as something Exotic.

to what Extent?
Belgium is not a particularly proud or chauvinistic Nation. But I think it's because we hardly have our own traditions, we are very open towards Strangers. And we are good at it, to claw at the other and to make our own identity.
