Konsertrecension: Teenage Fanclubs survivor indie trudge on

Teenage Fanclub is one of the very few surviving indie bands. While most of the other laid down and the members a long time ago trained architects or started to play konstrock have Teenage Fanclub has continued – in thirty years. They have never put down and resurfaced, only worked on at a leisurely pace.

the Band was formed in Glasgow in 1989, has had a careful utvecklingskurva – most refinement really – and had until the end of the year, when bassist Gerard Love not wanted to fly longer, also a right of intact members. It is of course very sympathetic. Like so much else with this band. For the Teenage Fanclub are, in fact, the actual answer to what happens if you play rock without the male testosterone, but the attitude that almost always diminishes the music's expression.

I want to in the spirit also recommend trummisens Francis Mcdonald's kammarmusikskiva ”the Hamilton mausoleum suite”. Incredibly beautiful.
