Venezuela has banned on Sunday, a group of EU-members, the entry and "conspiratorial motives" are accused of. The five members of the conservative European people's party (EPP) wanted to meet, according to a delegation member with the Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido.
"We are reported from Venezuela," said the Spanish members of the European Parliament, Esteban González Pons on Sunday at the airport in the Venezuelan capital, Caracas. "They have confiscated our passports and they gave us no reason for the expulsion."
González Pons said he and the four other members of this house have an official invitation of the Venezuelan Parliament, the President and leader of the opposition is Guaidó. Guaidó criticized in the short message service Twitter, the EU members had been identified by an "isolated and always irrationaleren Regime". The Venezuelan foreign Ministry said on Twitter that the EU members had already been before the days of "official diplomatic ways," notified that entry was forbidden.
