the Myth of the bad "cardboard wine" may well be killed. In the past it was wine that was not on the bottle, synonymous with poor quality and a guaranteed headache the day after. The could need used for cooking, mix in the sommerbowler or the like. Bag-in-box wines is, however, practical and often a good purchase. Typically you won't need to lug the heavy bottles home and you always have a glass at hand without having to open a whole bottle and last, but not least, there is a saving of 30-40 % compared with flaskepriser.

the Durability of a bag-in-box wine is often not completely agree and also depends on the wine. When hanens band is broken keeps the wine fresh for up to six weeks, says most. My own experience is that white wines any time shall not be more than 3-4 weeks while red can stand no longer. And the more powerful one wine, the longer the holding the the the taste. In return, you must not buy wines and store them for years. Typically, a wine is drunk within 1 year and most often is there expiration date on the box. You must, however, be aware that there are added more sulfur to the wines than usual in order to improve the durability. It can make the wines a bit more raw in style and therefore it is recommended to pour the wine in a decanter before it is served.
