The demonstration was made by the organisers ‘Republican march of the freedoms'. The protesters chanted "Yes to democracy, no to the revolution". A banner read "Stop the violence".
Among the marchers there were a lot of supporters of the La République en Marche (LREM), the party of the French president, Emmanuel Macron, some of whom are French flags are carried and some of the European flag.
