Gary Oliva is since 2016 in a prison in Colorado to a punishment of ten years for child pornography. “I've never someone held as of JonBenét, and yet I let her out of my hands again. Her head snapped in half and I saw her die”, the convicted paedophile written in a letter from his cell to an old schoolgenoot, Michael Vail (55). “It was an accident. Believe me, please. She was not like the other children.” In a second letter he, still according to the Daily Mail, about how JonBenét him “completely changed” and he writes that he repents on her death. “They did all the evil out of me disappear. I realized that it was wrong the other children to kill. Yet she died, by an accident, and that was my fault.”
